Level 1 (Certificate in Outdoor Learning – COL)
Is an immersion experience to give the learner an understanding of the Archimedes Forest Schools ethos. As an alternative to this Archimedes has developed its Outdoors & Up For It (OUFI) course. The COL is a 2 day course and OUFI is a 1 day course.
Level 2 Forest Schools Assistant
Is a 5 day course which qualifies the learner to assist a Level3 Practitioner. Level 2 qualified practitioners can progress through the Archimedes ‘top up’ scheme to become a qualified Level 3 Practitioner (Terms and Conditions apply).
Level 3 Forest Schools Practitioner
Is a 5 day training and 5 day assessment (including additional training) course run at one of our 12 venues around the UK. Learners can train and be assessed at any venue. Some venues provide excellent on site accommodation adding to the family of learning spirit of the Archimedes programme.
